Privacy Notice
Last updated: 19 September 2026
VRTCL Clip Analytics is an authenticated company operations service used to connect approved social accounts and read bounded performance information and, when separately authorized, submit approved VRTCL media for organic publishing. This notice describes the information the service handles when an authorized company user connects an account.
Questions or privacy requests: [email protected]
Information the service handles
- Account and access information needed to operate the service, such as an authorized VRTCL user name, session records, and the connected provider account or handle.
- Provider connection information, such as provider account and media identifiers, page or business identifiers returned by the provider, granted scopes, connection state, and token expiry metadata.
- Clip observations returned by the provider, such as media identifiers and permalinks, posting and sampling times, captions where returned, media type, and provider-reported metrics. Observations are bounded and are stored with source and integrity metadata for the company record.
- OAuth state and connection responses needed to complete or diagnose a connection. Access tokens are kept server-side in encrypted storage and are not returned in the service interface.
Why it is used
VRTCL uses this information to authenticate approved connections, read provider analytics, associate an observation with the correct VRTCL marketing record, show company reporting, investigate connection or data-integrity problems, and support an explicitly authorized organic-publishing request. The service does not use an analytics connection to claim downloads, revenue, or audience results that the provider did not report.
Sharing and access
The service is limited to authorized VRTCL company users and its controlled server processes. Provider requests go to the provider endpoints required for the selected connection. An organic-publishing connection is separate from the analytics connection and is used only for an authorized publishing request; provider acceptance and publication are verified separately. VRTCL does not sell the information described here. Access credentials are not placed in public pages or returned as analytics data.
Retention and deletion
The service retains operational records while they are needed for the connected company record, source verification, and continuity of reporting. This notice does not promise a fixed retention period. You can request deletion or disconnection using the public data deletion instructions.
Changes
VRTCL may update this notice when the service or its data practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
